What would you google Double point harness or 2 point harness?
The double point safety harness has a connection point on the front an rear of the harness
The rear D ring is for fall arrest and the front is for fall restraint or rescue, this is because the rear D ring come up behind the head when deployed.
However, in theory, you could use the front anchor point the same way, but the risk is, when deployed, the ring or anchor point would come up under the chin.
Now if you were looking on line for this type of product what would you search? Two point or Double point?
When a safety harness has one point, we look for single point, and when a safety harness has three point we say a triple point.
So why when a harness has two points we don’t say double point?
